All donations received into TVT will initially be used to subsidise the maintenance of the Trail. Thereafter donations to local Veterans Charities will be made. These are currently Fischer House, RBL and Veterans Breakfast.

Fundraise

TVT will also aim to promote fundraising activities to increase the ability to provide assistance to associated charities who provide financial assistance to Veterans and promote their welfare.

After seeing the amazing Veterans Walk in Sunderland we wanted to try and do something similar within Telford. These plaques will be laid at Telford Town Park’s existing War Memorial, making a permanent trail of celebration for family and friends who have served or who are still serving.

This is an opportunity to purchase a unique gift to celebrate that special person in your life, a lasting memorial plaque or a leaving gift for someone leaving His Majesty’s Armed Forces.

This is a non-profit organisation with charity status, run by Veterans who are supported by the Rotary Club, Telford and Wrekin Council.

Welcome to Telford's Veteran Trail

The trail is to celebrate veterans young and old, so that they have a place to go to reflect on their contributions to their country. It’s also for Veterans who have sadly passed and families can commemorate their service by placing a plaque on the trail. The space has been kindly donated by Telford and Wrekin Council to honour its veterans.

TVT will also pledge to raise money for local Veterans charities, 10% of the price of the plaque will be donated to a chosen charity. A new charity will be chosen each year by the committee to receive the donation.
